Nordic Sectech Summit:
where security becomes a strategic value
This Cybersecurity Month, Riga will once again become the epicenter of Nordic security technology for one day. On October 16, at the “FANTADROMS” venue in New Teika, the Nordic Sectech Summit 2025 will bring together international experts, the latest technology solutions, and practical workshops to demonstrate how security is evolving from a daily function into a strategic value for businesses and national development.
The event combines a conference, exhibition, and hands-on workshops, creating a platform where a highly qualified audience can exchange experience, knowledge, and practical solutions. Running from 9:00 to 15:00, this year’s summit specifically targets security industry professionals, integrators, heads of security departments, and decision-makers seeking insights into future trends and solutions, with a special focus on fire safety.
The program promises engaging content, with 20-minute presentations from both Latvian and international security experts. Among the speakers: Tibaud Estienne (SPAC Alliance), Viesturs Bulans (Helmes Latvia), Elviss Strazdiņš (Digital Security Center), Juris Baums (Hyperscan), Rob Drewery (Motorola Solutions), David Hartl (SmartSpaces), Jens Holmberg (SimonsVoss Technologies), François Levy (Digifort Global), and others, including representatives from the education sector. Presentations will address smart building security, the role of AI in video surveillance and procurement specification, and experiences in vulnerability mitigation in Latvia and Scandinavia. Key discussions will also cover supply chain continuity and security, while fire safety and organizational cybersecurity will remain in focus throughout the summit. The program will conclude with a panel discussion featuring all speakers, giving participants the opportunity to join the dialogue and raise their most pressing questions.
Alongside the conference, a security technology exhibition will showcase the latest solutions, offering visitors the chance to explore products firsthand and meet manufacturers from across Europe as well as local system integrators. During breaks, participants will also be invited to attend practical workshops, where theory meets practice and solutions are demonstrated live. These sessions will allow security specialists to directly engage with the technologies, gaining valuable insights for daily decision-making on system selection, implementation, and maintenance.
This year’s summit is designed as a focused and intensive event, ensuring maximum value within a limited timeframe. With the program concluding in the early afternoon, participants can maintain full attention and energy without disrupting their daily work schedules. Networking opportunities will be integrated throughout coffee breaks, the exhibition, and workshops, enabling meaningful connections with a carefully selected audience of industry professionals, corporate and government security leaders, and strategic decision-makers.
Catering will again be provided by local family business Garšu Osta, offering a new seasonal menu at attractive prices.
Participation in the Nordic Sectech Summit 2025 is not only a chance to gain the latest insights into security technology developments but also an opportunity to expand professional networks, establish new partnerships, and be inspired by the experience of industry peers. This is the event where security is treated as a strategic value, bringing together those who shape the future of the sector.
